The Company

Exportaid was founded in 2001 to help businesses throughout the world with their international trade requirements.

The company is now truly international, currently supporting businesses in more than 60 countries.

The Problem

Exportaid had a website which had evolved over a number of years and which incorporated some unique functionality designed to facilitate communication with their clients and contacts across the globe.

Over time, the site had become cumbersome to manage and keeping the site updated was becoming more and more difficult.

The Solution

Following a review of the objectives for the site and its core functionality, it was decided that a content managed site was appropriate.

BSA Marketing proposed using an open source web development solution as this would offer significant cost-benefits and would hold true to to company's ideals. The result was the development of www.exportaid.com using the Joomla content management system.

The new site is much easier to maintain allowing updates to be made more quickly & efficiently. This intuitive ease of use also means that content is updated more regularly. The Joomla approach also facilitiates direct content management by non-technical users at Exportaid; again increasing speed and efficiency of website management.
